Question: Error: 'people.dbf' does not exist.
Applies to Version(s): 4.20.371, 4.20.372
Answer
While opening the Activities screen you received the following error dialog:

The "people.dbf" file is a temporary file and it's link in the database may have not been properly removed. Since this is a temporary file and the contents are recreated each use you can safely create a dummy file to resolve this error.

Temporary Fix
Create a dummy file using Notepad.
- Open Notepad (Start | Run - then type NOTEPAD and press enter)
- Type anything, such as "PACE" (Some older versions of Notepad may not save blank files)
- Select - File | Save As
- Save the file in your PACE data folder - C:\PACE4\DATA\ with a default install.
- The name of the file must be PEOPLE.DBF
Start PACE as usual and open the Activities screen, it should open without any errors. Afterwards, the "people.dbf" file will be removed automatically.
